Which one should I buy?
If you want the traditional wet-heat experience and have a corner of a room to spare, the Core. If you want the least possible friction — no water, no setup, no cleanup — the Glow blanket. If two people will use it together or you're tall, the Max. If you're heating one outdoors with no power nearby, the Trail.
Steam or infrared — what's the actual difference?
Steam heats the air around you, so the room gets hot and humid and you feel it on your skin immediately. Infrared heats your body directly at a lower air temperature, so it feels milder while you're in it but you still sweat hard. Steam feels more like a sauna; infrared is easier to tolerate for longer and leaves no humidity behind.
Will it raise my electric bill?
Not meaningfully. Our units draw 1000–1500W, similar to a hair dryer or space heater. A daily 30-minute session runs roughly $2–4 a month at average US rates.
Do I need special wiring?
No. Everything electric plugs into a standard 110V household outlet. Use a wall outlet rather than an extension cord or power strip.
Can I use it on carpet?
Use the included floor pad, or any waterproof mat. Steam models produce condensation, and you don't want that soaking into carpet or a wood floor week after week.
How long does setup take?
The Glow blanket: unroll and plug in. The Core and Max: about five minutes the first time, two or three after that. The Halo pod: roughly ten minutes. The Trail: 20–30 minutes including the stove and chimney.
How long should a session be?
Start at 15 minutes and work up. Most people settle around 20–30. Drink water before and after, and get out if you feel lightheaded — there's no benefit to pushing through it.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the interior with a damp cloth after each session and leave it open to air out for an hour. Empty the steam pot when it's cool. Descale it monthly with white vinegar if you have hard water.
Is there a height limit?
The Core stands 180cm tall and fits one adult comfortably seated. The Max fits two. The Glow blanket suits most body types up to around 6'4".

Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant, have a heart condition or low blood pressure, or take medication that affects how your body handles heat. Don't use one after drinking alcohol. See our safety page.
